International Federation of National Teaching Fellows

4th October 2016

Event news, news

The IFNTF is a growing network of the “world’s finest teachers”. The Federation was launched on September 8 this year, and David Boud represented us at both the launch and the subsequent meeting. The IFNTF website (http://www.ifntf.org/ ) is brand new and very sparse, but the organisers have plans to feature national networks and organisations such as the ALTF as well as individual members. This should start to happen fairly soon.

The IFNTF is an independent, volunteer and stand-alone organisation not affiliated with any particular country, and representing individual Teaching Fellows from regions  with Teaching Fellow programs. Over the next couple of months, the ALTF committee we will be thinking about how we might encourage and define Australian membership of the IFNTF. Dawn is the Vice-Chair Australia and she will join all Vice Chairs for meetings in London next February. We will provide further updates as more information becomes available.
