In Australia, allied health and nursing curriculum is intended to address requisite knowledge, skills and attributes defined through professional competencies. Previous work by the fellow in pharmacy curriculum has indicated a lack of all but superficial level notions of professionalism and no obvious references to leadership or lifelong learning. The intent of the fellowship is to develop curriculum initiatives around professionalism, lifelong learning and leadership skills.
